This quaint little town is nestled between Rapid City and Deadwood. Nemo was first established in 1877, but began to flourish in 1898 when Homestake gold mine near Lead used to harvest timber near here. If you are looking for a break from city life, Nemo has what you desire. This a quiet little niche in the hills near camping and fishing. The Centennial Trail (for hiking, biking & horseback riding) passes nearby. Come enjoy a quiet, rustic, western resort nestled in the pine trees at the Nemo Guest Ranch and a delicious meal at the Brandin Iron Restaurant.
